Betrayal

Painted during the summer of 2016, Betrayal, is a personal narrative depicted in a dramatic lighting. Inspired by Caravaggio’s "St. Jerome writing", there is a particular focus in the saturation of hues depicted in the clothing and a special attention to rendering each item. The narrative shows a dedicated creative refusing his muse. A slight motion for a deeper tale.

Pieces

A recent Work as of 2018, Pieces, is a work that steps in a different direction, conceptually and a visually. The subjects are more than models, they are extensions of the artist as he exists in the world. Showing Anger, Trauma and an attempt at Spirituality, personified in to young men of color, who are colliding in this awkward space, creates the voice of this piece.

David

An earlier work, David, is a notion for the appropriation of colored figures in poised positions. Adopting the biblical story of David and Goliath, in true renaissance manner, the artist applies a personal narrative, a story in which the David, is also the David depicted here.
